How far in advance should you order your wedding cake?

Booking your wedding cake should be on your to-do list early in the planning process. Ideally you want to be contacting us 6-12 months before your wedding, especially if your wedding is during peak wedding season, we tend to get booked up quickly during these periods. Details don’t always have to be confirmed up front, but it is worth getting your wedding date booked in early. We can then arrange a follow up consultation 3-6 months before the wedding date to finalise details. Don’t worry though if your wedding is fast approaching, drop us a message and we will do our very best to accommodate.

Yes, absolutely! You can choose a different flavour for each tier of your wedding cake. This is a great way to offer a variety of tastes to your guests and personalise your dream cake. We will guide you through the options during your consultation and help you create a delicious combination.

Do you offer delivery for the cake?

Yes, we do offer delivery. We will ensure your wedding cake arrives safely and on time at your wedding venue. Delivery fees may vary depending on location, we will coordinate with your venue to make the process seamless.

Do you offer cake toppers?

Yes, we do! We have our very own laser cutter, this allows us to design and create personalised cake toppers just for you. Whether you want names, initials or a custom message, we will help you create a unique topper that perfectly complements your wedding cake.

Do you provide cake stands or other display items?

Yes, we have a rustic wooden log stand available to hire. We also offer cupcake stands if you are including cupcakes as part of your display.

That’s absolutely fine, we are happy to work with your budget and can offer a range of options to suit different price points. During the consultation, we will discuss your vision and help you find the best design and size that fits both your style, requirements and budget.

Wedding Consultation

One of the most enjoyable parts of choosing your wedding cake is the tasting consultation. You get to sample a wide range of cake flavours and fillings. Tastings are not only enjoyable but essential for ensuring that you choose the perfect combination of flavours for your wedding cake, this is the perfect opportunity for you to discuss dietary needs, allergies and cake sizes as well.

Your wedding cake should complement the overall theme and style of your wedding. Whether you’re going for a rustic, elegant, modern or whimsical theme, choose a cake design that aligns with the aesthetic of your celebration. Feel free to bring some images of designs or themes you like the look of for your wedding cake to the consultation. We can then work with you to create a custom design that reflects both your personality and wedding theme.

Following your consultation, I will create a custom sketch of your wedding cake design. This ensures you know exactly what your dream wedding cake is going to look like, and gives us the opportunity to make any changes if needed.

Booking & Payment

Once you are happy with your wedding cake design and details filled out on your order form, to secure your date, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required. The final balance can be paid either in instalments or as a single payment – whatever suits you best – with final payment due two weeks before the wedding day.
